A breeding ground for passionate people to get ahead

After being inspired by real-life case studies and fascinating guest speakers during their summer semester at Harvard University, HPU students Nessim Djerboua, Stefan Geissel, and Joseph Kourieh started to think of additional ways to enhance their MBA experience at Hawai’i Pacific University. Building on a solid management education the three students wanted to enrich their graduate program by reaching out to the business community. On their flight back home to Hawai’i, the students wrote down initial ideas they later wanted to present to Dean Charles Steilen and the Assistant Dean of the College of Business, Aytun Ozturk. This presentation in Fall 2007 marked the founding hour of the MBA Club Hawaii at Hawai’i Pacific University. The club has been founded to challenge students to reach their fullest potential and to build relationships that last a lifetime.
