This year marked an exciting time for aspiring entrepreneurs in the HPU community with the introduction of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Series, hosted by the Entrepreneurship Center. Each month this semester, guests from the local business community were invited to share their vision of what it takes to succeed and thrive as a young entrepreneur. Topics discussed include: - How they came to identify the opportunity that led them to starting a business venture
- The important lessons learned along the entrepreneurial journey
- Rewards of being an entrepreneur
- Their business philosophies and values that guided them
- If they were to start over, what would they do differently?
- The future, what does it hold for new generations?

Entrepreneurs are effective educators as valued role models to inspire students and faculty with their experiences and business philosophies. In these series the Entrepreneurship Center at Hawai'i Pacific University in corporation with the MBA Club Hawaii will invite entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial executives to help students learn what it takes to be successful in business and in life. All events in this series consist of a panel of distinguished and experienced business leaders who will be asked to present their views on what it takes to foster an entrepreneurial strategy and culture for their companies. |
